Saw this a couple of weeks back pulling into the crime infested shopping precinct of Virginia Water. My mate and I were (somewhat childishly) laughing and pointing. The two female officers crammed inside looked genuinely embarrassed.

It does look utterly ridiculous in the flesh.
Criminals are much easier to catch when they're rolling on the floor laughing though

Who me ?

Have heard of a "green dog", but never a "blue dog" ( needs a bit of translation for our southern folks)

The Met area cars were 2.6 I think with single blue light and yes the traffic ones were 3.5 with the later ones being vitesse models if my memory serves me right .. All replaced for a short while by 2.0 montego's !!

I once went through a garden wall across the lawn and through the front bay window of a house in woodford green during a pursuit ( I was the passenger- operator as we called it) suprisingly strong cars !

Later did part of my advanced at Hendon in a red vitesse E512LHX I think along with the senator and the new 827's

The senator was a seriously quick car I remember overtaking the advanced bike course southbound on the M1 whilst on my advanced course in one

If memory serves, the Met used an E36 M3 in yellow for a while... it only had markings on the sides, so front and back were unspoiled. Upset a few people!
