What's Oulton Park like?
Discussion
Pretty much all trackdays are run on the International layout (the longest).
Great track that takes some learning, well worth getting early instruction to get some pointers.
Druids is not quite as lethal as it used to be - they resurfaced it last winter and it now has some grip in the wet.

My favourite UK circuit, very technical which often catches even the experienced track day driver out.....
Ive done half a dozen days this year, dry & wet.....
I'm also there 7th November, lots of differing vehicles in attendance Inc some top rally boys practicing for the following days/weekends Oulton Rally

Love Oulton Park
It's the only UK track I've driven so can't really say how it compares to the others but I can vouch for the fact that even after 6 days there in various cars I still find myself coming away having learnt something every time.
I find it quite fun in the wet TBH.. although I do cheat and use AWD:

done it about 10 times and it still scares me in places.
downhill off camber Cascades, keeping your foot down past the little kink before Druids, Lodge with the little 'yump' on the exit, bump on the pit straight just in the main braking zones and when its damp it can cause the wheels to lock up.
Favourite bits are Lakeside, Island, Shell, Foulstons, hilltop, Knickerbrook/Hizzies, Clayhill.
Supposed to be one of the best drivers tracks.

Awesome fun, even in the wet but care/skills needed.
(I'm not driving in the vid, in the passenger seat!)
