Roger.
I was an original but not going to go forward with the regular thing so you can have my spot. It was a one off bit of fun for me and I can't be arsed with the syndicate malarkey.

Cheers to spud for sorting out the original and good luck to everyone else thumbup

Thank you.

Will trawl through all my old emails, may have ended up in the junk folder!

Anyone know how to withdraw from the syndicate tool?

Looks like we may not be using it so wouldn't mind getting my £10 back hehe

What's the concern? That it's a bit scammy? If so, I suspect it's a bit late for those of us who put our card details and money in frown

See if it works the first time and then pull out if something is wrong (i.e. try and buy the tickets a few days ahead)?

I say that not to tempt fate further but for the fact that if they were stealing CC details - it's already done now!

I think everyone's panicking just a little too soon. I'm still happy to go with whatever the consensus is - if people are worried about the site then we won't use it. Just request your funds back (note: I've never asked anyone to deposit any!) and keep an eye on your CC. If you used a CC anyway, you'd get monies back quickly without any issue.

Having suggested that site and now looked in more detail yes it could be a bit suspect. I was imagining just using it for the member management but buying the tickets manually. Anyway, I do use http://www.groupspaces.com through work to manage a group of circa 300 people. Its not free but it is good and you can set it up to take PayPal payments which would probably be better? Well it is free for just 50 users but thats no good as there is 150 of us; the next one up allows 200 users but is £4.99 a month. http://groupspaces.com/pricing has the pricing details. Might be an option though? Obviously no one knows me from Adam but I'd be happy to setup a group under my account/manage the group and Spud can also have access to the group management and the PayPal bit?
Is there anything to prevent us, notionally, splitting into 3 separate groups?

Like I say, keep the discussion going until we reach a decision.

I have £20 in it. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what the decision is.

three groups increases admin, paying is the better way, if it gets too hard then enthusiasm will fade. It has to be easy to administer and people not worrying about a £1 here and there.

I think most of us would be happy to lose the fees on £2 for a 'once in a while' draw.

If it's going to be regular, then I'd happily pass my place to someone else (although can't imagine you'd get 150 for a frequent thing).

Having said that, no email received (& sent a pm over the weekend) about where the big win is coming from.

I don't understand , why can't we just use what's been setup since over half of us are signed up and deposited funds ?

What's going on then? I've just bought my own ticket for the £50mil and 10x millionaires, I need to lower the odds of winning though as I need to buy a toy to play in the mud with biggrin

So, what's the score with this? Gone very quiet. Should I take my 20 nicker back?

Just hang fire. I imagine there will be some press about Christmas/New Years/another special draw of some sort - there usually is. We'll be in on it when there is smile

I withdrew my £10 that I put in as I thought it was going south quick however if we are doing a draw in the near future I'll update the funds.

Just a comment on withdrawing the money it was very quick and easy, I used the contact us link and advised I needed to withdraw money they replied quickly to confirm it would be done and the money was there within 24 hours.
So in terms of using them for winnings etc I think they'll be quite good.
