It's cheaper in Hong Kong, if you are there. Obviously you'll need to pay import tax when you bring it back.

? just unpack it, put it in your bag and it's yours.

If you're after the 64Gb or 128Gb, then it hasn't sold out as they haven't had stock yet because I've been checking all week. They (and a few other online stores I've checked) only have stock of the 16Gb models, so it looks like everyone will get the stock of 16gb first, then 64's and 128's at a later date.

Which is pissing me off, as it's my birthday tomorrow and I wanted to treat myself to a 128Gb WiFi & Cellular in slate grey. Like you, I want the extra warranty that JL provide.

ETA - I popped in to John Lewis while out on a call. They have plenty of Wi-Fi models in stock, but there is a 2-4 week delay on Wi-Fi + Cellular due to "negotiations with mobile service providers". I also went in to my local Apple reseller and they confirmed the same .

Can I ask anybody who has ordered theirs directly from Apple: did you order the Wi-Fi only model or Wi-Fi + Cellular?

Was coming from an ipad2 though, so obviously a worthwhile upgrade.

I have just ordered a 128GB WiFi Non cellular from Apple. Delivery in 2 - 4 business days apparently.

Unfortunately, I'm in Rochdale

I get 2% off with Apple education discount but i wondered if there was any likliood of doing better than that without needing a long haul flight.
