I would like to invite you all to 'Cars for Lives' a charity event being held at Beaulieu National Motor Museum on Sunday 23rd November.
The event is in support of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and your attendance will help raise funds to keep this helicopter flying and saving lives.
I probably won't need to explain to you what a vital life line this helicopter can be when things go wrong and I hope that this is an event that everyone would be passionate about coming to, to show our support to these guys.

My aim for the event is to fill the hard standing Event Arena with as many of your amazing cars as possible. It will be our very own little car show and of course you will have access to everything else Beaulieu has to offer, so let's make a day of it.
If you've not visited Beaulieu for a while, the Top Gear exhibition is very good with a lot of their previous 'creations' on display and a live show experience.

I have my own reasons for supporting this charity and I know several other PH'ers who have been helped by them in the past.

I will also be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in February to raise even more funds for them.

I am keen to evolve this event, so if you are able to bring motoring exotica (anyone got a Zonda to put a smile on my face?), display vehicles, trade stands or anything else you think would be 'cool', please get in touch with me.

The admission fee (I have managed to keep slightly cheaper than the usual general admission price) to the day includes a donation to the Air Ambulance Charity, so please come along, socialise and have a really great day!

I'm hoping and praying for a dry day, but please don't let the weather put you off if it's cack... Haha

£20 Adult
£10 Kiddies

Thank you all for your support.

Excellent, cheers guys.

I'm hoping that people will turn up for this. I've got visions of being stood on my own in the middle of the arena sobbing in the rain!!! Haha

Nah, it's ok... I've picked a mild, sunny, dry day for it!? yes
Trust me, it'll be fine. Plus there will be hot coffee there to warm you up if you did feel a slight chill!

Where's that 'Best of British Stiff Upper Lip!?'

Yes, great idea. As already discussed with you, we’d very much like to have a trade stand there, just two or three cars with a small marquee for New Forest Sports Car Hire

Geoff, would you like to bring the Ferrari?

I’ll also invite the TVR Car Club along, we usually put on a good show!

Absolutely, it would be great to have some stands on the day. I'll give Beaulieu a shout and let them know.
And yes please give the TVR lot a shout too. It would be great to have a whole range of different cars for this event. It will make it so much more interesting for people. I'm doing my best with invites to various people, but my contacts and networks are limited, so I'm really relying on all you guys to help me out a bit here thumbup
If anyone reading this wants to share this with any other 'car groups', then please spread the word.
Depending on potential numbers, I might see if Beaulieu will let us get away with a Hog Roast cart!? Everyone loves a Hog Roast on a crisp, cold day!? lick
I'm still open to suggestions for 'stuff' on the day. So please post your ideas up and I'll see what I can do...

Cheers all

GruFFy

P.S. Still no Zonda on the list yet then!?
I'm sure there's one lurking out there that's not afraid of a bit of weather!? laugh
