Yeah , I probably should've mentioned that shouldn't I .

The non-cat version. Although as far as I can tell at least one benefit of that system is that switching in/out any cats would be most simples .

don´t know if i would spent that amount of money without seeing any dyno back to back charts.
ofterwise clive y precats out will do the job in my opinion. space is quite limited below
the car to get some bigger diameter in and don´t think it will make that huge difference.
maybe better invest in a proper cam and a well flowing head...

I have the ACT Y piece(non cat) and a choice of the Cherry Bomb and Supersports exhaust (Supersports is straighthrough and not sold anymore - considered to be too loud).

I looked at getting the stainless manifolds but was advised not to bother unless I wanted them purely for cosmetic reasons. The performance increase over the standard manifolds with pre-cats removed is neglible and to me certainly not worth £795 + vat.

I've seen the Clive F Y-piece "in the metal" and I don't like it - it's too busy. The ACT Y-piece is very neat.

I have the full ACT system (manifolds, cats and cherry bomb exhaust). Very happy with the fit and finish of the exhaust components and whilst I can't quantify any performance improvements the car certainly felt perkier after fitting. The sound is perfection.

Discussed recently:

I would say it was Clives Y piece that was very neat and ACT one a little fussy

To be honest Clive's was attached to his manifold system, and the whole package just looks to busy to me.

I think 8 equal length pipes is always going to look 'busy'.
This is however, very nice smile

think you have been a little confused, you are referring to the equal length manifolds, there is no y piece in this system. the y piece decat pipe is a different thing altogether.
