For a 2004 Crossfire...... Can't seem to find any at sensible price. Ebay is around £200 for new one but is there anywhere else I could try please?

Weren't these based on a Mercedes SLK platform?

Might have some luck there.

Apparently they are the same part for both Chrysler & Mercedes...

They seem to be alot cheaper for the Merc part on Ebay so unless somebody tells me that this part can usually be repaired, I shall probably get one from there.

This is what you are after I think - Murray Climate Control - Blower Motor Part # 75897 - O'Reilly, Rock Auto, Advance Autoparts, PepBoys all have these - a lot cheaper than from a CJDR or Mercedes dealer - even if you have to ship it from the US.

Having just fixed the heater on my Merc today I would say that the blower can be fixed usually by cleaning and or possibly replacing the brushes.

You could at one point in the old DC days cross reference merc and Chrysler part numbers, if you can now or could find a dealer willing to is another matter though. Glad to hear your still ruinning the old gal though.

My mate did ring up a dealership (not sure which one) & they wanted £400 for the part & apparently there isn't any in the country. yikes

They wouldn't give him the part number for obvious reasons. frown

yes owned it now for just coming up 3 years & apart from the clutch needing replacing, the car has been fantastic & a pleasure to own. It's just done 103000 miles now & still going strong.
