My TR now has a new set of wheels, courtesy of Paul's track car which has kindly sacrificed its wheels for me. I have swapped the standard 15" wheels for 17" ones.

Paul, you may not recognise the wheels, as I had them refurbished, turned the tyres as I am not a fan of white walls and changed the black badges for red ones. Here are the "before and afters":

Appearance is significantly improved IMO and new wheels will be much easier to keep clean. I have only done a few miles since fitting the new wheels, but my initial impressions are that cornering seems better and ride does not appear to have been adversely affected.

Looks real good to me! Glad it worked out for you - have to agree about white walls!
Maybe see you at one of the BDC events next year.

I think those particular wheels are, arguably, the best looking wheels ever fitted to a Bentley.

The wheels look great and take ten years off the car but the tyres look wrong, too high a profile. What size are they?

These are very special wheels - they make the car change colour..... look at the photos.

Nice to see the red wheel centres on the car which are the correct ones for a Turbo R.

The badge colours are a real anorak's delight!

Basically Green = Quick
Red = Quicker
Black = Quickest!
There is even a one off yellow out there somewhere, made for an Italian dealer

Where do I get the black ones from? I was looking for a cheap way of going a bit faster.
