I'm looking for furniture and lighting, and want something vaguely interesting and well designed. I have some real 'designer' stuff, but need to compliment that with cheaper pieces. However, there doesn't really seem to be much out there. Ikea is generally horrible quality, and not as cheap as it probably should be. Made.com looks ideal, but has insane lead times, and horrendous reviews.
Does anyone know of anywhere?
Thanks

Went to their store in London, was not impressed with the stock, the guy there was most unhelpful when I wanted to find out about a leather chair and the fact the only showroom that stocks it is in Leeds... They have 3/4 varieties and I wanted to just sit on it to find out if the dimensions are good... but no, they will never be getting another one in London despite saying its a really good seller.Does anyone know of anywhere?
Thanks
Tried to buy some cushions from made.com for a present, and found their customer service to be disappointing. Won't be bothering with them again!
Visited this place a while back, very nice stuff! They also made me a couple of coffees whilst browsing which helped the drive back

I took delivery of a Made.com bed last September (Penn bed) and the central beam supporting the slats and mattress unexpectly gave way one night in January. I'm not fat and I was asleep at 3am so not even moving about.
I called customer services who were helpful and said they'd send a man out to inspect (really to check if they could blame me) which happened after a couple of days. Man sent his report off from my house using his tablet.
I gave it a week and nothing so I rang again. That forced them to check if anything had come back which it had but clearly they have nothing in place to notify them so they rely on customer prompt. Not ideal.
Anyway they reassured me that a replacement part was available and would arrive in 2-4 weeks.
4 weeks passed and I hadn't heard from them so I called again. This time I'm told a replacement part isn't available and I'd need a whole new bed - it will be delivered in June!!
I wrote to them to complain about this. Despite claiming they respond in 48 hours a week went by and so I contacted them on Twitter. They apologised and offered to refund the original delivery charge (£40). I told them that wasn't good enough as the experience has been shambolic but apparently that's their best offer. I turned it down. A replacement bed might arrive in June.
I'll update further in June

Dwell table here - seems all good so far (fairly new). Owned by DFS now.
There's Maison du Monde (French), free delivery over £500. Ordered 8 chairs from them, had a problem with one... so they're sending a replacement (well, 2, as you buy them in pairs) and have said keep the existing ones. Can't complain about that.

https://www.untothislast.co.uk/ but you'll have to arrange your own delivery.
I bought a tv cabinet from https://www.swooneditions.com which is great quality.
We've bought various things from made.com from lighting to an ottoman bed. We've been happy with everything we've bought, but possibly lucky given there have been a few negative reviews online with deliveries etc.
I can recommend a great alternative called Maison Du Monde. I'm not sure if they have a UK depot, but their delivery isn't expensive. Website is English and we've found the quality to be spot on.
We've bought 3x pendant lamps and a 90x90 mirror from there without problems.

Bought a sofa from MADE and after about 4 weeks we decided to move house and the corner sofa wouldn't fit the new place, we called them up to see what they could do and they offered to swap the corner unit for a 3 seater AND refund the difference along with sorting collection and packaging.
Supreme service and as a result have bought quite a bit more from them.

Issue is European bed sizes so more restricted on mattress choices over here I can recommend a great alternative called Maison Du Monde. I'm not sure if they have a UK depot, but their delivery isn't expensive. Website is English and we've found the quality to be spot on.

I have stuff from MADE.com, mainly lighting, and a few chairs. It has all been absolutely fine - but all of this stuff is occasional use. I went with G-Plan for heacily used sofas as they are just solid. Prices to match, so I found second hand stuff.
I also have bar stools and a sideboard from Swoon Editions. Absolutely lovely, Indian made stuff - but pricey, and also with bonkers lead times. Wait for their sales.
Some MADE.com lights in our house. Lighting can be some of the most overpriced rubbish you will ever see (I'm looking at you, Heals), and also something that you want easily changed to give a new look. Spending £1000 or more on a pendant light has thus never made sense to me. MADE do some great stuff at decent prices. I had their light fittings and some furniture in my flat, last house and this house. None of them have ever had any issues.
With MADE lighting, I have found that the "designer" stuff they do is better quality, presumably because any designer/company who put their name on something has some say on the finished product.
