Hi, does anyone have a drawing or photographs of what the original brackets were like as mine seem to have been botched with all sorts of bits of metal

All three should have a little rubber "bobbin" on the bottom, that's the remains of one on the left. Don't know if the four holes in that one are "original", some one cocked up at the factory, or an alteration some time in the cars life (before it died forever frown )

Those are a "spare set" but yes I did make myself a new set from some stainless steel strip.... was easier than de-rusting and painting the originals smile

Maybe those tatty things are only on those common 2.9's ?
(in other words I do not know either! Mine is a Mk1)

I think they do slightly different things/adjusted differently so swapping plugs is probably not a good idea? May not be too clear in the photo but there is a metal "bung" on each one, I have painted these black and white to relate to the plug colours.

Yes, I have tried to move them away as much as possible from all the hot air coming through the radiator and fabricated a "deflector".
