I can receive texts fine but every now and again I have to restart the phone to be able to send texts. Carphone Warehouse and EE both say phone SIM and network are fine.... Anyone else had this issue and worked out how to fix it?

Have you tried clearing out your old messages and making sure you have deleted some off your sim card. Possibly one or both have run out of space to save the sent items.

I have this issue and it's extremely annoying. Every so often text will just sit at 'Sending' indefinitely or sometimes be marked as 'Not sent' and the only way to get them to send is to restart the phone.

Unfortunately I don't know the cause or any solution. I'm also on EE.

Indeed. Massive PITA. Otherwise the phone is great.

I have barely any in there as I've only had it a couple of weeks. I'll try it though.

Web search indicates it's a common issue..maybe an update will sort it.

I have the same problem with mine. The quickest way around it is to put the phone into airplane mode for a few seconds and then bring it out of airplane mode and it will send the pending texts.

PITA and cant seem to find a fix for it.

I think this is a windows phone software issue....

I have a windows phone and have this infuriating issue as well as not being able to make telephone calls....

This has happened to me a couple of times so I googled it earlier. Turns out apparently it's widespread and both HTC and EE know about it. Not good at all.

I've been having a similar issue with my HTC One M8 (had the same issue on my nexus 5 as well).

Quite often it will tell me a text message hasn't been sent but the receiver gets it twice! HTC One M8 with android 4.4.4 on Three
