Credit check....is there anyone who could do a credit check?

Would there be anyone who could do a credit check for me please.

I am trying to find out if I should start court proceedings against a person. Been owed money however if the person is a serial debtor then there is not much point if I am unlikely to get anything back.

You want someone to run a credit check on another person without that persons authority??

Even if they're a professional non-payer that doesn't necessarily mean they don't have money. It could just mean that other creditors haven't bothered to sue, or if they did, they stopped at the CCJ and didn't enforce. The more the sum owed, the more it's worth fighting for.

Its always worth putting the CCJ on file.
Also, if its a larger debt a charge might be possible.

Best you don't ask somebody to credit check them, even if somebody did you may not get much from it anyway.

Do you know if they personally own property or other assets?

Pretty sure they dont own anything of interest except a car. They owe me £160 so pretty sure they can cover it.

Unfortunately you cannot run a credit check on a private individual without their express permission to do so, I think you'll struggle here.
