So, currently I have a Nano which is full with approx 2200 songs. I need an iPod with more capacity and I'm winning on an Ebay bid for 60gb iPod that has 9000 already on it. So 3 questions....

1) Can I add the songs on the 60gb ipad to my existing I tunes and how do i doi t?

2) if I cant, do I just return the 60gb back to factory settings? Is it easy to add another IPod to my current itunes?

3) I have seen a pay for app called Sharepod...is it any good?

1) Assuming a Windows based PC, simply connect your ipod and browse to it using Windows Explorer. Navigate to the drive/iPod_control/Music folder and you should then see a whole load of folders named F00, F01, F02 etc. Copy these to a known folder place on your Hard Drive and then use iTunes and import this folder into your library. if you can't see the folder, you may need to turn on hidden folders in Windows Explorer.

2) Yes, (to adding another iPod) I think.

3) No idea, sorry!

The important thing is to make sure iTunes doesn't get hold of it when you plug it in. When I've done it before I usually go into task manager and kill all of the apple services before connecting the iPod. That way it should just see a portable hard drive and you can copy everything off with no trouble at all.
