Can anyone ID this spider?

Haha, I actually knew what it was but I will admit there was a thread about false widows a month or two back and wasp spiders were mentioned.

For the record, it was quite big.

On my honeymoon in thailand recently we found a variation of a "goldern silk orb weaver" outside our villa, it looked very similar to this (thats where my knowledge stops! it looks like one we saw!) that was mahoosive too

Oooh that looks like it - it was covered in tiny babies as well (not visible on the pic I uploaded).
