Hi all, I'm looking to join the TVR family so please be gentle with the newbie. I have a friend ( marcus1875 ) with a wedge and with kind permission I've been allowed on the last 2 RNR in my Audi S4 and I've caught the bug.
I've been looking into a 4.3BV and I've got a couple of stumbling blocks.
First is I can't find much info on these cars, like is there a way of telling them apart from a normal 4.3 ?
Second is the car I'm looking at is in London and I'm in Edinburgh so I'm trying to find out as much as I can before I travel all the way to see it personally.

Thanks all.

Hi Colin, whereabouts in London - perhaps someone local could have a quick look to see if its worth travelling?

That car was mentioned on here a few months ago, may have been in the tvr general stuff section. The owner signed up to defend the price as everyone thought that it was a bit on the high side, I also swear that he had a ratty cerbera for sale last year, but he denied it and it's quite possible that I was mistaken as there are loads of car showrooms along that road.

It's at least a half hour drive for me to see it and there's no chance I'll be able to get there for the next couple of weekends, if you're still interested next month and not found anyone to have a look at it I'll probably be able to go and be nosey for a giggle.

Thanks for the offer, I'll take you up on that if nothing has been sorted before then.

After my complete failure in geography I'm hoping there is someone in the Southend On Sea area or know of someone in the area that could help me out. I'm more than willing to cover reasonable expenses or even beer tokens if you desire.

Thanks
Colin
