Needs to be cheap to run and insure as will be passed to 18 year old.

Otherwise yes there are more fun options

Took the words out of my mouth. Also a dash that will resemble Blackpool illuminations. Airbag light could be an easy fix though as it can be related to the wiring under the seat. Just needs a jiggle.

There was a story on Watchdog about it a few years ago iirc. Might be worth Googling.

Finally got back. More problems with my parent lift than the new car...

Overall not bad. Headlights are dull. Looks like someone's tried sanding the lights and given up. There's been an oil leak fixed, but x'd oil not cleaned. Nearly burned off now. There's a noise on steering from Column that needs investigating sooner rather than later.

Drives well but bloody noisy on the motorway.

£57.90 for a brand new pair of headlights delivered on ebay if the current ones are beyond repair.

Brother in law bought a new one in dec 02 mother in law bought it off him at 18 months old, she is still driving it now it has never broken down in 12 years but does have the melted effect steering wheel and the airbag light is now on after all this time. Mots never cause much hassle just a wheel bearing this year.
