I managed to get round to adding the finishing touches to three Honda RCV's that I must have been building for well over a year today and may have reignited the flame to get on and do some more building if I ever get a spare 5 minutes. Anyway, I took a few photos on my phone as the build went on and then of the finished articles today. When looking through the photos I did notice a couple of missing bits so will add them on soon. I haven't sandpapered the tyres like I normally do to get rid of the moulding line and make them look used either so its on the list of finishing touches. All three are just out of the box as they come. The motogp geeks might notice the 2006 Repsol has Nicky Haydens' markings but Danny Pedrosa's seat unit - the model only comes with Pedrosa's extended seat but I just couldn't bring myself to build a Pedrosa bike when the Hayden numbers were supplied.

The models were: 14106 RC211V "Repsol 2006", 14096 RC211V "Repsol 2003", 14095 RC211V "Pons 2003"

Three frames with swing arms and engines mounted (difficult to spot any difference as yet):

Thanks, they aren't the best but as good as I can get them out of the box. Some of the people on the modelling forums add chains with individual links, full wiring sets and even make the insides of the fairings look like they are carbon so I've got some way to go, but I'm happy with the results. At least they look good form a distance in the display cabinet!
