all - how much should expect to pay for wheel arch and sill repair? Rust relatively small but does need doing.

Also any recommendations on where to go?

Garath at MX5 Restorer in East Sussex, if you're happy to travel.

Gareth does excellent work - take a look at one of his cars.

Nick (Skuzzle) does pretty much anything, including repairs - http://www.skuzzle.com/motorsport/

The cost will depend on how much work needs to be done. You can't tell just by looking at the outside.

There are other excellent garages, but they're much further away.

there was a guy on here (used to post a bit in this subforum) that did specialist mx5 sill repairs in the area (I'm in Reading).
i sent him a message a while back but didn't get a reply, i imagine he's still around tho... the name Doug rings a bell but i might be mistaken.

There's mike@woodysmazdas.com 07956386373 in Lightwater who has been mentioned on the OC forum but no comments regarding prices etc.
From his website looks like he's a one man band so draw your own conclusuions (my experience on that score is there are lots of really good guys working for themselves as customers matter!).
Cheers, Pewe.

If you are willing to travel then it has to be Gareth at MX5 Restorer near Brighton. Do a search for him on the various MX5 forums and you'll see the quality of his work and the number of very satisfied customers.

Hijacking the thread slightly (sorry OP), but how are MX5 City?

The sills on my Dakar are starting to get bubbly, and they're not far from me (relatively for Lincolnshire anyway!). Nearer the better ideally as I'm assuming it'll be leaving it with them for a week.

Give Paul Roddison a call. He's in Sheffield, which shouldn't be too far from you. Paul fixed the sills on my Mk2 a few years back.

Hi did our 2.5 together with both front chassis rails.
Two years on and you still cannot tell.
