Polo 2007 (9N3) side lights problem.

Hi, I was trying to help a mate out as both front and rear side lights aren't working on the drivers side.
We put new bulbs in and checked all fuses with a multimeter but still nothing.
All other lights work fine.
They will not come on as parking lights either.
Anyone any ideas what to try next?

Re-check the fuses, they sidelights are fused seperately left and right sides if I remember rightwhich would make sense with your issue so I'd have thought that's your starting point.
