20" wheels great for showing off the midget brakes lol
I would have been happy with 19's but wanted dark wheels on a white car but as is oten the case with Porsche options you can't have exactly what you want. 19's can't be done in this finish. At least my GT4 will arrive in my preferred colour of Voodoo Blue. I hope it looks fking amazing and will be one of very few in PTS blue.
yep loads of PTS blue, there were 5 Mexcio GT4 here, but I have cancled mine now, a long with sapphire and Voo DOO, there should be quite a lot of blue cars which is a change to the norm.
I never felt 100% with it(wanted a rare factor more than the colour I think), added to that loads of people were specing blue, I pulled out last minute when they said another 3 months to wait for PTS and all the people here with blue.
Should have gone slate grey or Viper, o well. really happy with the launch colour though it looks stunning in real life more than the yellow GT3 due to all the extra black on the GT4.
MY OH also thought yellow was not the colour to go for , then she saw it and said "it HAS to be yellow, it's stunning" A quick call and my Blue was binned. (also helped by the Mexcio 911 at PEC which did nothing for us at all" then you come back in, see the yellow and it was an easy choice and of course £2.8k better off and a car due to me in OCT.
I think the JZM over saturated car pics swayed me, then in real life it was a bit flat at PEC :-( even a little insipid causing me not to sleep !
I am sure people will be happy with it, I just came back in and thought yellow was stunning, just that gut feeling when you see colours I guess all personal.

shame you will never get to find out. Now go and play your play station ffs as I doubt a person old enough to drive would clone my old user name.
i can read the gear ratios off of the internet just as well as any google jockey on the forum, why would i need to experience that first hand?PorscheGT4 said:

Strangely I ditched Voodoo too and have ended up with Yellow. Saw it in yellow in the flesh at Goodwood and was immediately sold on it. Also meant that I could go for all the yellow interior bits I wanted but which I wasn't convinced would go with Blue.I never felt 100% with it(wanted a rare factor more than the colour I think), added to that loads of people were specing blue, I pulled out last minute when they said another 3 months to wait for PTS and all the people here with blue.

I was the opposite with the yellow.
Looked great in show room lights, not so great out in open.
Mexico not so great under showroom lights, brilliant out in open.
Having see both side by side in natural light (911 not Cayman) I hated the yellow in natural light (looked a bit pale) and loved the Mexico and Voodoo in daylight.
Each to their own - I hear on the grape vine that over 35 of the UK orders in the system 15% plus are yellow so strongly suspect there will be more of those than the various shades of blue put together.

Yes apparently CCTV captured these two discussing your yellow marker with the red stitching over lunch
They don't look like the German Fashion Police in that garb. If they are, then I think paralla has a strong case for having the 'controversial colour clash' decision overturned.Look at them, they are having a right laugh at his expense. The blighters.
Picked up my GT4 this morning and had a fun day getting to know it. Had forgotten what a ball ache it is running in a fast, free revving car but first impressions very positive; steering is very good and falls mid way between my Boxster and 997 GT3. This combines with a surprisingly good ride to make it feel like it will be great as a daily driver. Gearing is long but no more so than any of the Porsches I have had so I don't really get what all the fuss is about; the gear change is the best I have ever used and as I like using it I don't see the hardship in having to change down when you feel the need. Handling felt very good except for a slight issue with understeer in a couple of fast corners so I suspect I will be messing with the anti roll bar settings after I have given everything a few more drives to bed in.
