You can have full days including an hour of F1 track time. My instructor mentioned tome after I explained what I wanted out of the day and discussed future progression in the car to properly understand the limits.
£850 ish. You get an instructor for the day. You can also hire a cars etc, mega expensive.
Exact dates in April and May not yet released but if you want to do it get your name down early as I was told they sell out fast.

Just under 2.5 hours in total.
Used a mix of non sport to compare.
Nope no chance of 4th unless you change up stupidly early. Car was pushed too, after a refuel the instructor said it was showing 160 mile range - eek!
Enjoy
I was there doing my 991 GT3 session . Kept trying to get in the same place to follow you around for a few laps but never seemed to work out . Caught a glimpse of the car as I headed out and spent about 5 laps on max attack trying to get on your tail before we realised you weren't on the main track anymore ! Used a mix of non sport to compare.

Hope you had a great day. GT3 looked epic, what a weapon!I can't wait to get back once I have my car and know it a bit better - after a bit more experience the main track is calling. Maybe next time!

Had my PEC day yesterday
The driving position is a bit strange, probably due to my height (5ft 6) but the wheel rim in the right position obscured the top of the rev counter. I am sure I could get it sorted with a bit more playing and adjusting the seat up and down.
Exterior: Front is very low as already commented on. Even the PEC car has splitter scrapes from floor to lower volume button on an IPhone 5, about 7 or 8 cm.
Steering nicely weighted, don’t really get all the striating feel fuss.
You won’t do the car justice on the road that’s for sure! If you do get it on the limits on a regular basis best of luck with keeping that license!
I have heard that some people got reverse rather than first at the lights? Hmmmm, not sure how they are doing that need to really make a conscious effort to push across to reverse.
Clutch as others have said it’s heavy and takes a bit of getting used to. That was the first manual I had driven for 7 months so took a while getting used to the clutch again anyway.
The above is an edit of your post, just keeping the points I am commenting on:The driving position is a bit strange, probably due to my height (5ft 6) but the wheel rim in the right position obscured the top of the rev counter. Driving position for me is perfect. I am 6' 3" but there is a huge range of adjustment in seat and wheel height and reach.
My front splitter is 12cm above the deck (it clears most speed humps in a straight line; very few require an angled approach). Perhaps there is a cm or so variance in how they are delivered but PEC must have lowered their car.
Steering feel is more important and pleasurable on the road.
On a well sighted winding road you can do the car justice without getting too illegal. The balance is so confidence inspiring you can really push.
I agree that it would be impossible to accidentally get reverse.
I don't notice the clutch weight anymore.

Thanks good to know on adjustment. Figured with a bit more playing would get it spot on. You have a few inches on me!
Really from bottom of splitter to floor 12cm on your car? My mate measured with his iPhone 5 as a reference commenting it was low. I'll ask him to send a pic but I make my iPhone just over 12 cm long and no way it fitted under splitter. I think the gts is already lower than 12cm I believe.
I guess your PEC may have raised the suspension? Can be done as I understand it.
Yes I am sure I would get used to clutch after a few hours, you always do.
Enjoy the car!

Interesting possible positioning of new Cayman. Also probably confirms end of production for GT4 as March being correct

981.2 non-S and S would be a tough sell with those power figures, even with the additional torque. Can't see it happening unless there will be a major price cut.

any idea what the running in procedure is for the GT4 ? thinking of booking a GRRC track day on the 14/November, about 3-4 weeks after the car is delivered, should have done 1,000 miles by then, but unlikely many more.
Usually the manual says one thing, the dealers another .mrdemon said:
ignore the manual and the dealers, neither know a thing.
run it hard up to redline from mile 0 to seat the rings properly. then you will have one of the top BHP producing GT4s available.
I think that's a 'joke' post - It's not David.run it hard up to redline from mile 0 to seat the rings properly. then you will have one of the top BHP producing GT4s available.
High load (up a hill, high gear) to bed the rings in and varying revs for the rest - best not to redline it!
