Anybody know - if you have a "month 10 build" - when do you actually get the car?
Thanks
October build would mean November delivery assuming no delays, but it depends when in the months it's builtThanks
They usually take 2 weeks to arrive with your dealer once complete (assuming your in the UK)
I saw the GT3 group and thought I would start a GT4 group

Already mentioned on the gt4rs post
So how many will be changing spec to Pdk!(mrD you won't have to put up with those long ratios in the manual)?presume this will also be offered on the 981 spyder as well which will please some.
I did here back in March that a Pdk will be made late in the year but I wonder if it will be Pdk-s?

PDK ratio are still long you know. what is it 74 mph in 2nd gear or 77 mph in the GT3 because it goes to 9k! and by the time you are in 4th 140mphSo how many will be changing spec to Pdk!(mrD you won't have to put up with those long ratios in the manual)?presume this will also be offered on the 981 spyder as well which will please some.

I was in a Ferrari FF Friday, mega thing and very nice short ratio's how it should be.

Might have short ratios but how much does it cost?I was in a Ferrari FF Friday, mega thing and very nice short ratio's how it should be.
I am sure that at.some time in the future a solution will be offered to shorten the ratios!
Also a Pdk gt4 may bring it in to the lower co2 RFL bracket (>225)

If true then a Pdk gt4 will be pretty rare as will only be available to buyers whose specs are not locked in!
IF it is Pdk-s I think it will cost closer to £4k as an extra
not much performance advantage with Porsche PDK imo over manualIF it is Pdk-s I think it will cost closer to £4k as an extra
Ferrari 458 2nd gear is 65mph 3rd only to 87mph even the Porsche PDK in 3rd is 107 !!!
that what makes Ferrari auto boxs fun, you are up and down the gears with the paddles , and while I dislike auto's , close ratio's make the DSG/PDK/DCT etc come to life, Porsche PDK still sucks the life out of the car ;-(
I don't mind a good flappy paddle box but the Porsche one is OVER RATED because of the still daft ratio's
I don't know why PDK is raved about, driving a long ratio PDK car is dull as F4ck
The ratios in the 458 sound fun but the car costs in excess of £150k so even if an aftermarket final drive reducing ratios costs £5k the gt4 is still a bargain.
I think whatever car you buy there will be some kind of compromise with Fezzas its cost to buy and cost to run with porsche its long ratios but cheaper to buy and cheaper to run.

I wish I could be a designer and make my perfect car lolI think whatever car you buy there will be some kind of compromise with Fezzas its cost to buy and cost to run with porsche its long ratios but cheaper to buy and cheaper to run.
PDK is comic daft on the Porsche forum though, esp PDK owners who rave on about how they get short ratio's lol
I would take PDK-S on the GT4 if it have 458 ratio's at least you could thrash it about and get to rev out in 4th and be up and down the Box
where as in my GT4 I'll be in 2nd gear ! and on tighter sections bogged down in 2nd unless I force it into 1st !
I still cannot work out how people have fun in GT3's in the UK.

If there will be a PDK (or PDK-S) GT4 announced tomorrow then there will of course be additional quota for these cars. I reckon they could easily sell another 1000-2000 cars as PDK and that's what they are probably going to do.IF it is Pdk-s I think it will cost closer to £4k as an extra
It would make zero sense for Porsche to put money into R&D for a PDK option that will only be available to customers who already bought the car anyway.
Plus you'd get a lot of pissed off potential customers who were on the wait list but cancelled their order when they learned that the car would be manual only. I know a few of these.
Shorter PDK-S in the GT4 would win me over the long geared manual. Regular PDK not.
