I never said I sold it ! , some one thinks I have because I bought a TTS and that's how nasty rumors start and all the nasty flipper comments, not that it bothers me, hence I played on it a week or 2 for my own amusement!! def brought out a few nasty bds !!!
Well, you certainly alluded to it, suggesting you've sold cars without ads before and may have done the same with the GT4 already...you then followed it up by mentioning you had an Audi TT now, not the other way around.

Loads of cars sell with no adds, my Gt3 and my R were both sold with zero adverts, what's to say I still have a GT4 and I did not sell for £115k straight away ?
Anyway, back on topic because your trolling is boring.

I think the TT is a very pretty car, my only real gripe was that there is even less room in the back than a 911 for those that want to squeeze little ones on the back ?

'Sounds an interesting winter chose, I had a tremendous time when I swopped my 1 series BMW for my son's MX5 (he got a corporate job !) --- and then we had that wonderfully cold winter.

I loved it --- the only scary moment being when the windscreen which had cleared with the engine warming up outside the house ( I know that's very bad .. but it was -16C) --- started to re-freeze.

I use to feel sorry/empathy for mrD with some of the sh*t/bullying that use to go on here and I do agree on some of the points he makes but he can be such an ar*e sometimes I mean why not be upfront if you sold instead of playing games!i am all the persons being upfront but I do have a sense of fair play hence I don't abide by any persons buying new cars just for profit when a true enthusiast could have bought at rrp but is prevented by flippers!

I love it when the temps start to drop. Only drive RWD cars now. Though the C63 doesn't need freezing temps or snow to make it lively biggrin

I know of a yellow car with same spec at gt4's at a sports car dealer up north. It's not advertised and is being sold off the back of another advert like so many are to protect the seller from Porsche finding out. I could name the business but I won't.

I know of 3 sports car dealers with min 5 gt4's in stock selling them off the back of other ads. Lots of people are flipping on the sly including gt4 I reckon.

Ask him to post a pic of the car outside his house with a piece of fruit on the roof. smile

name and shame the flippers and send to Porsche gb so they don't get a sniff of a 981.2 gt4/rs!
I know a buyer who was allocated a gt3rs4.0 who was told he was not allowed to sell for more than list for 6 months or so or no more gt cars!but this has all changed because under eu law manufacturers are not allowed to enforce this although they don't approve hence we have ended up with this situation of a number of flippers on even a car like a cayman!new/nearly new gt3/rs cars never use to sell for silly premiums did they?

I suspect between the additional allocation, and those picking up at a premium, the investment opportunity (even small profits) will soon be void, though the cars may hold a certain level of parity with the list price. Purchases now have to be based on car enthusiasm, nothing else, which is ultimately what it should be about. For anyone that has sold already for a large profit, congratulations, timed it right, took advantage of a early position, I just hope the dealership are aware and ensure they are blacklisted against future purchases, though I suspect the sales behind close doors are the way around this!

Here is the corner weight data as delivered from factory. Its quite a high spec car so quite heavy.

Total weight was 1422Kg. That includes a full tank of fuel, no driver.

LF 321kg RF 312

LR 388.5 RR 400.5

Geometry was spot on the recommended factory settings.
That's quite heavy. Do you have the clubsport pack as well so that's inclusive of harnesses/rollcage?

I agree, to a degree, but nothing is ever black and white.

What if you had your name down for 18 months, got the car you wanted, but then didn't like it? Should you be forced to hold on to it? It's not like you get to test drive these things! I'm sure this does happen.

I also don't think many of the OPC's are that bothered, as long as they are re-sold via them. They get two bites at the cherry after all.

And do Porsche Germany care? I highly doubt it.

I would not like to be a speculator on this car (or any for that matter) Allocation is way higher than first thought - I know a non Porsche GB dealer who got 15 in the first allocation and 5 in the second - I reckon there will be between 4/500 UK GT4's and come March next year I imagine lots will be up for sale and prices wil reflect this . The car feels more like a model run out at these volumes , like the 997.2 GTS , rather than a heavily restricted GT car - all of which is fine by me , the more the merrier - it's an enthusiasts car and I hope anyone who wants one manages to get one at list .

In terms of Porsvhe finding out - I assume a quick search on the plate with the DVLA would show that a customer has moved it on ?

I think this is very true , especially the bit about "double dipping" the margin

Ok, you are probably right, but to be fair, I was discussing the possibility that sales are taking place under the radar so not to jeopardise the customers relationship with the dealer, when in fact in the instance of not liking the car, surely the best option would indeed to let the OPC have a second bite of the cherry. I know this to be the case, following some interesting discussions I had with my OPC trying to get into a GT3RS.
