Evening all,

Been meaning to join up on here for a while now managed to get a bit of spare time this evening to say my hello and get a few pics up! Get the boring bit done..

Names Alex, I'm 23 and live in the Harlow Essex area. I'm a Motorsport engineer (track preperation and race support) for a well respected team/garage.
I drive a 2010 Corsa VXRacing edition which I've owned since new and thrown numerous amount of cash at like we all do. I hope this isn't time for the corsa wker insults, limited edition jokes yep I've heard them all but hopefully your all a little more grown up than some other forums.. I've done a few trackdays at snetterton on the 300 circuit. I wanted to do a few more but the time has come for me to sell the car and move on as I'm now after an EVO 8 MR FQ400 or an EVO 9 MR FQ360 by HKS still undecided yet.. Maybe some of you on here are evo owners and can point me in the right direction and some info and advice would be greatly appreciated!
Here's a bit of a spec list of my current car and a few pics. All the slate and hate will be ignored but crack on if you must!

Exterior

The car has the facelift front end with retro fitted AFL headlamps £1000 optional extra so this is one of a kind as none of the racing editions came in a facelift.
Nurburgring front lower splitter.
18" gloss black optional extra wheels with Michelin pilot sport 2 tyres all round.

Engine

Owen developments stage 4 k06 hybrid turbo.
Courtenay sport actuator.
Forge recirc valve with hybrid spring.
Courtenay sport high flow cast manifold.
Bigger Bosch 380cc injectors
Walbro 255lph fuel pump.
Cool running thermostat.
80mm MAF sensor.
3 bar map sensor.
Samco coolant hose set.
Courtenay sport turbo intake
pipe (custom).
Airtec Intercooler kit with hard pipes.
Milltek race turbo back system 2.75" (De Cat but also have a Milltek (HJS) 200 cell sports cat that will come with the car)
Pipercross cone filter.
Powerflex lower engine mount.
Water Wetter coolant additive.
Fuches Titan pro S 5w-40 Easter synthetic engine oil.

Live Mapped by courtenay sport
Currently produces 250hp & 245ftlb @1 Bar.
The turbo is capable of around 330-360hp.
This can only be achieved once the engine is rebuilt with forged pistons and rods. The plan was to do it this year but I fancy a change of car. I've been more than happy with the car and the way it drives. On a long run you can expect to see the return of 38-42mpg and around town anywhere between 22-30mpg.

Transmission

Fuches Titan Race 75w-90 fully synthetic gearbox oil.
Quaife LSD.

Brakes.

Tarox f2000 front discs
Ferrodo ds2500 pads
Ap600 fluid.
Lower wishbone brake cooling ducts.

Suspension

Forge Chassis brace.
KW Varient 1 Innox coilovers.
The car was set up by myself and currently has -2.75 degrees of camber at the front and -1.75 degrees at the rear. Front toe is set to 15 minutes out and the rear is standard at 30 minutes toe in.

Interior.

Boost gague in the air vent all done neatly.
Full leather Recaro interior charcoal grey with red stitching.
Heated front seats.

Welcome. That looks a nice clean fun motor. If you get a chance come to some of the South East gatherings. It's all posted on here and put your name down to attend. Lots goes on so you can pick and chose what events. Have fun and stay safe.

The Essex meet is hibernating atm but come Springtime the monthly "Breakfast and Motors" will be up and running.

Nice grub and cars/chat/lust etc. Held in Bicnacre, near Danbury. A nice squirt down the 414 for you should warm the car up!!

Hi Alex,

Not seen you about this way in a while?

The Corsa has certainly come on a long way since I last see it.

Welcome to PH!
