Steve, am happy for you to use my pics re Ted. I probably won't get a book as funds need to be managed tightly right now.

Is there any chance we could add a small profit on top of the cost, all of which would go to a charity of our choosing? My charity of choice is the Children of the Andes which provides protection and support to homeless children in Colombia.
How is Steve going to send 50p to 40 different charities? I think if you want to donate to charity just do so.
The idea would be to choose one. I was just saying Children of the Andes is one I personally support as an idea but I suggested we choose one that we all agree on.

I've ordered one to check the quality of the photos - once I've seen it's okay, I'll post a link here and you can buy directly from Blurb. Takes about 10 days to arrive.

Okay folks... It looks fine on paper. Quite surprised considering almost all were screen res pics.

http://blur.by/1uXCTI9

It defaults to hardcover so check softcover if that's what you want.

I usually buy Blub when they have a decent offer running (they have got quite expensive over the past year). I generally buy when I can get 30% off

There are current offer codes here - not sure which ones will work: http://couponfollow.com/site/blurb.com

There is no map with dots in this copy!

As mentioned above, a free pdf here if you dont want paper: http://stevecarter.com/random/TheTravelsofTranspor...

Have you tried buying books by somebody else from there?
All the codes I tried to apply say : Sorry, this promotion cannot be be applied to books you did not author.

It kind of sucks, I was trying to buy 5 books as gifts for family but £150 for 5 small books is pricey...

There are codes out there that will work... not sure what the current ones are. I only buy multiple books when I get 30% off, cos once postage is added, they are pretty pricey. (As I sell them they count as 'stock', so it's not so bad).

Blurb are MUCH more expensive these days - but still cheaper than photobox ec.

O/T At least there is no VAT to be added when I sell any more (photo books became VAT exempt last year)

I too had tried a few codes I had located however as above - only valid on self made books.

I wanted the book, not the discount so it was purchased. Hopefully Mrs Crmcatee will be happy with her stocking filler. smile
