Found this on the Pistonheads blog.......hope its not as serious as it sounds ...anyone know anything
" shame to end on a downbeat note then. To a family lunch the following day I was greeted by an ashen faced father-in-law for lunch with news that a neighbour was in a critical condition after crashing his car at Silverstone. This, it turned out, was the driver of the Radical that went off in front of teammate James Mills after connecting with a BMW and prompting the safety car period I ended up in. A sobering end to what was otherwise a fabulous celebration of the breadth and passion of all those involved in British motorsport - our best wishes to the driver involved and his family.

Charles Harvey Kelly driving his Radical SR3 was involved in a very serious crash at the Birket 6 hour Silverstone race on Saturday 25th October. He was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital Coventry where he is in the Critical Care ward. All racers and those who know Charles personally will send him and his family our sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery.

You Can Do It Charles

Sincerest Best Wishes to You & Yours from Me & Mine.

PS The Free Radicals done you proud just as you'd have wanted, nay just as you'd have expected them too.

I was the team manager of the Free Radicals for the Birkett Relay on Saturday.

As already stated Charles was involved in a heavy accident just after the exit of Copse Corner, he was attended to by the course
Doctor at the scene and then airlifted to University Hospital in Coventry.

The latest update that I have is that Charles is stable, however I do not have any other details on his condition.

Mine and the rest of the teams thoughts are with both him and his family and we send our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I am sure that the wider Radical family will all wish Charles the best and also respect his and his family's privacy during the coming weeks.
