3 breakdowns in 5 years in 3 different tvr's. Ecu shorted on the battery in my 1st chimaera, that led to another breakdown shortly after as the ecu was the wrong on. The fuel pump relay packed up on my Tuscan the other month. For the miles I have done in them I would say they are very reliable
"Two" in 7 years!!
The first was a high speed puncture - squeaky bum time on a run. I'm not sure if that really counts!!
The second was the battery running out of electricity (big fuse had blown on a track day) in the slow lane of the contraflow of the M1 in the dark. Not very pleasant!!
Not bad in all that time, although the engine is now in a HUGE pile of bits as it's apart for a proper freshen up.
More reliable than many "normal" cars....
Cheers
