It looks good but the notifications are a bit annoying.

The battery and llama ones are doing my box in. The sodding battery one is wrong anyway!

Tried to get rid, without avail.

Anyone able to help please?

I had it on my Nexus 4 OTA last night. It seems ok, but there is a slight lag when you open an app. It says I have 1.1GB RAM free, and still seems to lag a bit. I have not done a factory reset since updating though, and I wonder if that might make it run better.

Its not so bad that i'm getting annoyed with it, but it is noticable.

Try wiping cache partition first.

ETA: Nexus 5 here but maybe it'll be similar: click.

Over The Air

It means the automatic update sent directly to the phone.

Is there an easy way of uninstalling Android 5.0 from a Nexus 10. I'm getting grief from the Mrs as she's installed it and it's ruined her tablet.

Will a factory reset work?

Please help make my life peaceful again.

Unless you made a backup, I don't think so. You would need to go down the route of flashing a new image, based on kit kat

No update on my 1st gen Moto G here.

I ordered a Moto G 2014 today (with the 5" screen and Dual SIM). It will be interesting to see which gets the update first. Although, having said that, my current Moto G will probably go up on eBay pretty swiftly so I may never find out.

Also, my Nexus 7 2013 still hasn't had an update yet either.

I have the Moto G 2014 5" & still no update!

Sold my 1st Gen Moto G on eBay for £75 so good luck with the sale as they're still fetching OK money

Thanks. I looked on eBay's completed listings earlier today and saw that was the going rate, which was a nice surprise. Mine is in really good condition, and I still have the box, plus it is unlocked / SIM-free, so I'm hoping to get the upper end of what they go for (so maybe as much as £85). Fingers crossed!

I side loaded 5.0 and I'm having no issues. If you got it OTA try clearing the system cache in recovery mode. Will not delete any files, unless you select factory reset by mistake.
To do this For the Nexus 10 recovery mode can be accessed by simultaneously holding the Power Button + Volume Up + Volume Down buttons
Then you should have an android with a red triangle
To get to recovery mode simultaneously hold the Power Button + Volume Up buttons

You should now see the following

Android system recovery <3e>

Volume up/down to move highlight:
power button to select.

reboot system now
apply update from ADB
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

Choose 'Wipe Cache Partition' NOT 'wipe data/factory reset'

Once done choose 'reboot system now' and wait for it to boot. May take a while.

Just got my OTA on Nexus4. Install was okay and after a system cache clear it seems to work well.

I am surprised that used 2013 moto G are fetching as much as £85 on eBay as I just paid £90 for a new one from vodafone and had it unlocked for £1.

I can't say it's done much for my Nexus 10.
