Got my 5.0.1 update yesterday at around 7pm. This better fix the battery issue.

It's not the OS causing battery problems, otherwise we'd all suffer, no?
If anything, my battery life is improved by the lollipop update over kitkat.
What I've found drains mine is having 'active' widgets on the desktop. Google's News and Weather widget completely knackers mine in about 12 hours whether I use it or not. Remove it and back to 36 hours-ish per charge.

I've removed some apps so this hopefully should increase the battery life.

I thought the OS itself was falling over itself in regards to managing the battery consumption?

Does your screen seem brighter? The way it manages the "ambient" is user controllable now. If set brighter, it'll kill the battery quicker.

No change on my N4 really.

I've manually set the screen to a third of the brightness so it should be OK.

My N4 just received the 501 upgrade. That was earlier in the cycle than when I received the original 5 upgrade.

I was mistaken with the Z1, it was an update that took 30 mins, but not Lollipop.

Got mine last night, I hope it fixes my camera app crashing and rebooting the phone quite frequently when I try to use it.

My Nexus 4 has come up with the 5.0.1 update, I wasn't brave enough to try it two days ago but the feedback seems pretty good so I'll give it a go. My camera app has also been crashing and rebooting the phone at really bleeding awkward moments (small child meeting Father Christmas rolleyes ) so a fix for that would be good.

I haven't checked if 5.0.1 is showing on my Nexus 7, the tablet is close to unusable with Lollipop on it, I haven't tried emptying the cache, so I'll do that when I've some time over the next week. Are there any other suggestions, it's really really laggy and keeps locking up on various applications.

Sony have said that the Z3 will get it early next year and I think that the Z2 will be around there as well.

Let us know how you get on, please. I'm eagerly awaiting my 5.0.1 OTA!

So far so good - I think I was ready to throw the phone at the wall at this stage after the Lollipop upgrade so it's looking better...

Clearing cache on nexus7 worked for a short time, but it then goes back to lag city, it's really annoying and obviously why they pulled 5.0 from being released to other units, begs the question how it got passed for release in the first place, 5.1 may be a while as they might need more time to be sure it actually works.

My 2012 N7 is still running 5.0 (5.0.1 hasn't become available as an OTA yet). My 2013 N7 has been offered 5.0.1 but I have declined it and am carrying on with 4.4.4
And my Moto G (2nd Gen) hasn't been offered 5.x yet. Not that I would install it if it was.

Yes, I noticed that too. I might even download it and apply it, although first I will have to learn how to apply a downloaded factory image. And whilst I'm at it I might download the 4.4.4 factory image too.

All you need is Wugfresh Nexus toolkit, should even download the factory image so you don't need to do that seperately.
Absolute doddle to do, I've used it many times with Nexus devices.
