Hi

Have been once and we had seats in the Yellow Grandstand at Turn One, had a great view of them approaching from the start / finish straight before they head out to the back of the circuit , great visual and aural spot smile

Can't say it was the best place as have not used any of the other grandstands but it was great for us.

Hope that helps.

There's decent viewing from all the grandstands, don't be a tightarse and buy general tickets, the spectator banks are huge and a long way from the track, it is possible to get through the fences though hehe

Also be prepared to sit in massive traffic queues, its easier to park outside Valencia and get the train into the circuit, the night before in Cheste can be pretty riotous too.

The good thing about Valencia is that it's an 'arena' circuit so you can generally see a fair bit of the circuit from most stands. The grandstands leading up to the last corner are pretty decent, as you can see a few battles going into the tight hairpin-like last corner as well as a few offs. Last year there were quite a few riders in all classes doing burnouts in front of the fans there, too.

One piece of advice: Race day was really packed last year, and the Spanish don't do crowd control at all well so once in you really need to stay in all day on the Sunday otherwise you could well lose your seat. You can move between the sections once in so it's a bit of a free-for-all. They closed some of the grandstands because of over-crowding due to interlopers so even if you had a ticket for that stand you couldn't get in.

Cheste on a saturday night was like something out of mad max. mental over revving and backfiring of engines to a backing of euro trance and a million people.

Any grandstand seat is in the arena so you will see the lot.

We got the metro then train to the circuit. No way you would drive.

Been for WSB and sat at turn 2, great view at one of the best over taking spots.

Good view of most of the circuit, easy access with the train station just by the circuit. Good food ... Just lacked much atmosphere, but that's not surprising for WSB in Spain, for the GP I can imagine its a bit better, but not Jerez mental!

+1

My one time watching there must have been close to that. Seats we got at the end of pit lane / braking point for turn one and you could see the whole track apart from 500m or so. We bought them on the gate on the Thursday but probably wouldn't leave that to chance nowadays, it was a long time ago when I went as Rossi was on the Repsol Honda with the Austin Powers paint job, 2004ish.

Preferably the Green stadium section for the best views of everything, but Red or Yellow sections are also OK.

Good atmosphere there, Valenciana are a generally friendly bunch.

Last time we spent a few hours relaxing in the motor home and still hit the end of serious congestion on the motorway. Even on a bike it is not that easy to leave fast, the locals are not great at filtering. Plenty of nutters showing off, so take care around there. The Guardia Uncivil have also been known to set up speed traps nearby.

Yup. Directly at the end of the start straight. You can see just about the entire track from anywhere so you might as well be as close to the best overtaking point as possible.

We found quite the opposite. Having been to four European MotoGPs, Valencia without a doubt was the easiest and quickest to get in and out of. Took us all of about fifteen minutes from getting in the car to getting on the free-flowing motorway back to the city.
