Guilty !

Saw the van on the way into town, mental reminder that it was there, took the dog to the vets, only to find it was the wrong day, and went past the van that I'd spotted earlier at 81 in a 60.

Fixed penalty or my first ever (as the accused) court appearance ?

Too fast for a course; not fast enough for an automatic court appearance; likely to be fixed penalty of 3 points & £100.

i did the same.

was offered the course but i had already had one so he gave me 3 points and £60 fine.

89 in a 60 here and I'm in court very soon. I'll let you know how it goes by the end of the week...

I agree, and applaud your phlegmatic attitude. This place drowns in whingy threads making speed enforcement out to be worse than Hitler, and it's a pleasant change to see a sensible thread.

Mrs Osinjak went through a camera yesterday and asked; 'What does it mean when a camera flashes twice?' Much wailing and gnashing of teeth says I. She reckons she was doing about 40 in a 30 and so after explaining it all to her (she's a filthy foreigner so not really up to speed - ho ho - on points, etc) she just said 'Oh,' and that was it. Zero fks were given that day.
