A mate's low miles Puma Thunder has failed its MOT needing a sill welded, a shock replaced, a couple of braking fails. He has a new car on the horizon and just wants rid. It's a shame but he wants to scrap it, it's a great wee car and would be good to sell to someone that would stick it back on the road. He doesn't have the time to spare though.

My question is, is this car worth anything to anyone or, worst case scenario, are there any bits on it that are valuable? It has full leather interior etc and is a great runner with tax.

Cheers

Only the Leather and Alloys are worth anything, as they are fairly rare on a Puma.

Wheels will fetch £30 each providing they are round (more if they have good tyres) and the leather interior perhaps £100. Engine and box probably another £100, lights maybe £10 each, bonnet and boot lid perhaps will sell and then your after the scrappy that will take the remains away FoC. All in all £300-400 scrap for a fair bit of work.

The engine may be work a little bit as its a popular upgrade for the Fiesta & Ka.
