Hello,

I am a 17 year old learner driver, and I love my Anglia, but it does seem to skitter about all over the place, even in the dry weather. Its steering is very light, compared to modern cars, even with their power steering.

Any suggestions please as to how I can make my Anglia feel for settled on the road surface.

Thank you

An Anglia! Tyre pressures reduction?

No amount of tweaking is going to make an Anglia feel like a modern car. You could put slightly wider lower profile tyres/wheels on it, but that would probably cause problems clearing the arches.

Get the "castor" angle and tracking checked by a decent tyre shop, makes a whole lot of differance on steering box equiped cars wink
