...driving home last night i slipped out of third to go to first - i was coming up to some lights, i heard a clunk followed by the sound you get when you don't quite make a gear!! I coasted in on the clutch. The crunching happens in all gears and neutral but not with my foot on the clutch (I didn't labour this!!). Could it be the selectors or has it dropped a cog? Any road, if it was my Triumph I'd do it at the weekend, however as it's going to be engine oot, I'm thinking of finding somewhere 'local' (we'll have no shouting here) I need somewhere in the bristol area, and it needs collecting (obviously..), could anyone recommend anywhere please?

I'd get Peninsula to do the work. 01884 35341. Neil or Rich would sort you out. Although their truck caught fire the other week, they do have a trailer and collect & deliver. All you have to do is cover the fuel.

My Griff and now my Toucan are looked after by them, wouldn't sent it anywhere else... top blokes @ very reasonable prices!

It's amazing the looks you get driving down the road with a tropical bird between your legs(!)

Ahh, thanks Jools, Sounds £££!

However will Peninsula keep my little griff for as long as they keep Nacnuds SEAC?? Or is there a special reason Dunc!

....How strange - the banner at the top of this page is for Peninsula, an omen or is Ted being clever?!?

Err...

What actually happened is we (the techies) decided to do a crackdown on internet abuse at work - everyone has open broadband access here!! - and whilst we don't mind the occasional dip into friends reunited or bbc.co.uk, the onion, framley thingy and the like, we draw the line at KiddieGoatFucker.com and Hidiously large movie downloads - while we were at it we audited each PC for illegal SW installs - some interesting results as it happens, and a couple of trojan horses .
It was decided that the 5 most popular non work related sites would be 'unavailable'. PistonHeads (cause I used to log in and leave it open - banner adds etc) was.. ahem.. number three. And it couldn't be one rule for me and another for the rest now could it
It's a whole new chapter as to why only the tech dept has full access now though!!

BTW car failure exactly 1 day after warranty ran out... ..they all do that sir!?
