Hi

Could anyone share some info on the Stilo JTD?
Looking to do around 50K a year and keep the car for a minimum of 2 years, needs to be comfortable, cheap to run and very reliable.
Seen this one http://www.mototraderltd.co.uk/used-cars/fiat-stil... seem a bargain for 30K miles?

Thanks in advance

way over priced, i recently bought a 55 plate 1.4 6speed with 41K on the clock and full service history for £1400. does 50 - 55 mpg on motorways, diesel models were not much more but very happy with a petrol model.

+1. I bought a 1.6 5 door for the nipper 4 years ago for £1800. That was on a 54 plate with 54k on the clock. OK it was petrol, but as whiteonyx says, there's not much between them, value-wise.

An 11 YO Stilo (Schumy model excepted) has got to be worth no more than £1500 even if it's immaculate.

Edited to say - watch out for front suspension springs which can snap - possibly worse on a diesel as the engine is heavier(???), The indicator cancel mechanism is quite flimsy and prone to break and the exhaust seems to be made from bacofoil and tends to last little more than 4 - 5 years. We're on our 3rd!

Other than that it's been very good.

I don't mind fixing small issues i.e. suspensions and exhaust at the begging as long I dont spend any more time at the garage after
