Hi guys,

I'm planning a front end clean up this winter (new braided power steering pipes, new cooling pipes, chassis clean + paint etc) and I was also thinking of replacing the inlet trumpets with some of the nice carbon fibre jobbies from ACT (and getting rid of the pre-cats).

Now I know that one of the pipes from the plenum to the right hand wing is a vacuum pipe for the brake servo but what is the other for? The pipe says 'Ford Fuel'?? The fuel feed and return pipes are connected to either end of the injection rail so what is on the other end of this 'fuel' pipe?

I don't want to undo this and then find high pressure fuel p*****g across the garage.

Cheers,
Dave

Two topics down from this is one about removing the carbon canister.

The pipe in question is of course the return pipe from the carbon canister to the plenum.

Hey look, I've answered my own question.....getmecoat

Hahahaha!

I often find myself asking (sometimes out loud, haha!) the questions and, lo and behold, eventually the little 'expert' lurking in the recesses of my aged brain, will tell me the answer.

If not, I revert to PH! rolleyes
