'Different' Jaguars.

I disagree, it just looks like a big Alfa to me. It's nice, but by not looking like a Jaguar it hasn't got the same level of want. But maybe that's because I've never been into Italian cars?
Could be, I like the fact that it doesn't look like a Jag. I love 50s Italian cars and when I spotted it from a distance, like you I thought, hum Alfa? But knoing Alfa didn't make anything of those proportions in the 50s somehow knew it couldn't be an Alfa. Anyway it wouldn't do for us all to be the same - at least you didn't say you "hated" it ETA http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Being a fan of triumphs and many of michelotti's designs I hadn't heard of his d type re body. Seems it has quite an interesting history including coming third at Le Mans !!!!

Another one from Hampton Court is this, the 1952 XK120 'Jabbeke'.
Another great one which I don't have a digital photograph of is the 1961 Owen Jaguar Special.
