Nope, you were not alone fella.
Thought Farrell was crap all game, looked concussed to me!
Forwards seemed to be OK but the backs looked a little at sixes and sevens. Pains me to say it but I think I'd drop Brown and maybe give Foden a shot. Ford had his moments but he appeared to be unsure as to how to play his normal game, maybe because he had another 10 outside him?
Not sure if England were bad or if Samoa played better then I have seem them play before. Quite a lot of the Samoans playing either here or in France now. Maybe it stops the Blacks and Wallabies poaching the better players?

Agreed - I don't think anyone was left feeling that Farrell could play centre.
(At least I hope no-one from England thought so!)
England looked very poor at times but the good stuff tended to come from Ford. Hopefully more of that next week!
Stuart Barnes was doing my head in on commentary, he is a tt.

Ford was excellent in the circumstances. He always plays with his head up, and if he spots any sort of gap he has the pace to get through it. His cross-kick was also perfectly placed. Farrell just wafted around and didn't seem to present any sort of attacking threat, nor seek to play off Ford.
Quite impressed with Ford's tackling actually. Never going to knock people backwards, but gets stuck in nonetheless.
Good to see how he goes next week.

here's the scary quote from SL - "This means Owen's now got some genuine competition at 10 but also we've got the option of looking at Owen at 12." As far as I can see this says that OF is pretty much an untouchable - bad luck Cips and anyone else doesn't matter how well you do, you ain't gettin' in
Wales v SA? Any real chance on that....
Does anyone think playing the top 3 plus one other very physical side in 4 weeks back to back is simply too much and wouldn't be replicated in any competition as group stage is much simpler than that.
For Wales you can end up with 4 losses or one win and then its simply fingers crossed it might win one of the other 3. Though the issue we have seen so far is the "easy" game was a shocker when it should have been utter destruction of them. Now carrying key injuries SA on Sat is really pie on the sky.
