I've had my '5 for sale for a month or so now, and have had little to no interest at all (obviously November isn't the best time to sell a convertible!). It looks like I'll be keeping hold of the car over winter - to that end I'm after a cheapish outdoor cover (don't want to spend any more than around £100).

Any recommendations?

I've been using these http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005ZIB20E/ref=pe_38572...
Cheap and cheerful though seem to do the job. I've 2 in 2.5years - just bought my third so quite durable.
I use some small spring clips (see http://www.screwfix.com/p/forge-steel-spring-clamp... at each corner attached under the front lip and rear valance as it will move when wind is strong.
Some say they damage/dull paintwork and that's true on the door mirrors but I suspect the dulling is a lot less than if it were totally exposed to the elements - and it keeps you P&J out of sight of the scrotes.
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe

I just bought one of these, can't comment on it's quality yet as it hasn't arrived but for the price it seems ok.

Hi There
I got one from Hamilton covers some time ago its got elastic bits for going round/over the wheels etc, covered the mirrors as well problem is if they are too slack will rub and cause scratches. I had one of these on a TVR and when it did move because it was fibreglass it rubbed the paint off down to primer. Good cover but please make sure it is tied down really tight. I ended up putting extra straps on it and that did help. Previous comments are right buy the best one you can afford.
Hope this helps
