Hi.

I'm doing some work on my 1969 RR Silver Shadow 'I'. I've sorted the brakes but, while bleeding the system I have discovered that there is no fluid running to either the front or rear near-side control arm (openning the bleed valve and jumping on the suspension causes no flow from these three valves, the remaining one does flow very well) despite there being good pressure at all of the brake callipers, suggesting the accumulators etc are working.

I assume my front height control valve and RH rear height control valve has failed. If someone thinks my logic is flawed I'd be happy to hear an alternative diagnosis!

I should mention that I have recently replaced all of the pipes/hoses which feed the front valve after a hose burst. I am certain all hoses/pipes went back as they came off but it's possible I have damaged the valve in some way by doing this work.

I can't see where to get a new front height control valve from, does anyone have any idea's? I am going to ask Flying Spares but the part is not listed in their catalogue.

Thanks in advance...

Brake pressure and accumulator function are both important. How have you tested them?

Hi.

Just for anyone else stuck like me...

Flying spares have said that, although they do not carry the front height control valve, they can re-furbish my part, which is great news.
