I have 5 2.something long pieces of 4x2.

I want to make a cover over an area next to the shed for storing wood. (ill probably have to start a new thread about that because i have no idea.

Anyway Ive seen in the states they have metal feet that fit exactly 4x2 and then for corners a 3 way affair that just slots onto the 4x2. so you can make a frame in seconds.

do we have something similar over here?

bit like these but not quite.

Those things are not for ease of construction.
The one pictured is a 4 x 4 ,they are for fixing wood construction to a a conrete base or concrete footings.
And are code requirements for anything other than very modest builds.

You would normally set the associated bolts in the wet concrete, once set you place the thing on the bolts and zip up the nuts. Place post in etc

There are other types for 2 x 4 or 6 some give "total" connection others are for extra strength after original joint is toe nailed and are also a code requirement in many locations.

I think the ones you are looking for are often used in wooden greenouse construction.
Try including greenhouse angles in your search.

You could get the 3 way things made easy/cheaply enough, they are just 3 pieces of box section butted and welded.

Not quite the same but are you aware of joist hangars / truss clips

Although I'd probably just use a 4" screw.

I knew I should have bought that lidl welder.

Il search greenhouse thingies and joist hangers

the ones I saw in a thread on a us website had large square base. no need for fixing into concrete. i suppose with a welder that wouldn't be hard to make either.

If you want a sloping roof then you'll need some with angles, surely screws are just as good and much cheaper.

Hmm slopping
I Imagined attaching to shed, then two legs and the other three making a square at the top then some coregated plastic or something I need to get under it

Would it need to be slopping

To have four corner brackets like the ones in the photo would cost £15 each + vat to have made.

Think I'll just use screws smile

I want more cover over this area to keep the rain off but stupidly want it high enough to get under.

Pallets cut up today now in a big pile.

It'll certainly slop all over the place if you get it wrong.
