Hi,

As per thread title, I'm thinking of getting a Sinn 6100 Classic B Regulateur.

One of these...

Just wanted to get a bit of feedback on what the consensus is on these. Worth going for it or forget? I have no experience of a Regulateur watch.

I know there are only a handful of AD's/Stockists for Sinn in the UK. Keeping that in mind, where would be the best place to buy from, and what sort of money should I expect to pay for it? (any room for a discount anywhere?)

I know there are a few Sinn owners on this forum. Just wanted an educated opinion on this Watch.

All answers appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes

I used to have the black one. Wonderful, and subtly different. I put mine on a Staib mesh and it looked great. Stupid to sell it, but hey ho.

YES! Get it bought!

These are gorgeous, and the dial just pops in the flesh. I fear discounts are few and far between due to the small numbers of distributors though.

Thanks for the answers all.

Definitely helping me make up my mind!

Next step: Any idea where I could see one in person?

Looking to buy in December (nothing like a birthday present for yourself!).
Guessing these are not exactly made in high numbers. Will most likely have to order one in advance...

another question...

Any preference over the colour?

White dial/Blue hands + markers? (link in first post)

or

White dial/Rose gold hands + markers Link

I personally try to avoid gold in my watches, so would go for the blue. But it really is personal preference.

Quick update to report that I picked one of these up on Friday last week (just in time for my birthday).

Have attempted to take some shots of it with my SLR. Nowhere near professional, but better than a phone pic.

Apologies for the hairy wrists in advance...

Loving the look and feel of the watch. Quality is perfect.

The finish on the dial is brilliant and it just pops out at you in different angles/light. The blued hands and markers look great against the silver dial.

The movement is pretty standard, but is nicely decorated. Blued screws stand out. The stripes on the movement (Cotes d'Geneve?) look great.

The clasp is very comfortable. It comes with a buckle as standard. I'm not a huge fan of buckles, so specified a Deployant clasp. Just Finishes the watch off nicely.

The strap is good enough. Still a little stiff (stop giggling at the back there!), but expect this to soften up with some regular wrist time.

Overall very happy with the purchase and another to add to my collection!

A big thanks to Jonathan at Page & Cooper for supplying the watch. Great to deal with and top bloke too!
