For those on the hunt for Tamoras, has anybody viewed the purple 2002 plate on ebay yet?

Very little stock out there right now. I've kept any eye on the market for a while but I haven't seen it this dry.

Photos don't look too bad, seems fairly clean, price is very keen. For a late 2002 facelift in good condition I would have expected an £18K plus price tag.

But, no mention of any service history. May be an oversight by the dealer (unlikely) or may be that it doesn't have any (walk away).

Worth a phone call to get some more details.

Do you like Purple?

IIRC that's been on there for quite some time... unfortunately know nothing about it, nor have I seen it before at any meets.

Certainly does seem cheap for what it is. As other have said it's been on there for a while.

At that price if you like the colour it's at least worth a look. Even if you consider a rebuild it only takes it to 20k

I think the colour might be marmite. It's a 7 hour round trip for me so I'm not 100% convinced the journey is worthwhile yet.

I have been very interested in this as well. I rang the garage yesterday and was planning to view this on Saturday.

The car has 2 previous owners (1 owner and a garage). After speaking to the last 2 garages that have serviced it, no engine work has been done and is on the original clutch as well.
also, it has not had the 24,000 mile service yet.

I was planning to ask you lot if anyone knew about this car as well. Also, I heard it may have been in the Isle of Man for the last year or two.

Same here. Aeromotive sports and performance ltd did some work on the car around 6 weeks ago. This work included engine mounts, boot latches and other bits.

They did not carry out the 24k service (assume they are trying to flog it before the service to avoid the inevitable problems that will be found).

If anyone spots a nice tamora for sale, please let me know.

Nothing about on the market currently at that price range though. TVR-Mads are expecting a 2002 in around the 17k mark soon. I spoke with James today as spotted the brief details on his website. All he knows right now is the year, mileage, price and colour (Silver).
I was keen but my last car was silver so fancy a change.
