Right I have plan that is set in motion I'm building a road zakspeed capri. The only problem I am having with it is I don't know what engine to use now I don't want to use a 1.4 I was thinking a v8 and squeezing around 600 bhp out of it. It would be nice to hear what you guys think. Thanks

There is a guy from near the Reading area doing this using a 2 litre Sierra Cosworth lump,
Apparently the car so far has cost him around 60k to replicate the space frame, front corners and gather`some parts`.
His own company built the chassis and suspension parts, they make specialist vehicles of some sort.
From the 4-5 pictures he showed me,apart from the chassis there is not a lot there for 60K.
I have toyed with this idea over the years,as have many probably and I don`t wish to piss on your bonfire but they are so unlike the original car, only sharing the roof that it`s probably madness to consider it unless you have access to a lot of equipment,a team and many years free.
good luck.

It would be a huge job to get it looking right.
