Well, another 1400 miles under the belt, and i'm still loving the truck!
On boxing day, we disappeared off to Brugge with the caravan, so the outfit was weighing in somewhere north of 4 tonne, cruised to dover, over to dunkirk, and down to Brugge. It got a lot of attention when driving round the small city
And only just fitted in the underground carpark!! Jesus, parking is cheap in London compared to here!!
The outfit!
Since being back its done a sterling job towing
And of course a light bit of night laning, gets it all dirty again
And it scrubbed all not too badly for Goodwood PH Sunday Service too!

From what I've read they are not illegal, unless they cause harm. The whole time they are there, and aren't causing harm, there is nothing wrong. Thats reading paperwork given to be by a Traffic Officer. So should be ok. Pedestrians, whom are the only ones to be hurt, would go under the vehicle first, rather than over the bonnet, so it shouldnt cause issue there!
Just completed over 70 miles of greenlane tonight, and it got filthy! Really impressed at some of the stuff its done though!

Having spent since the summer with a petrol V8 (A Yank Ford) and loving it, how is your mpg?
Mine is 26 on a run, 16 if I'm very careful in the city and 12 if I drive it normally.
Oh yours is healthy! Towing the caravan to Brugge, in a rush, I averaged 7.2mpg on Petrol. Around Belgium I was filling up on LPG at 23p per litre, and with 5 up I was averaging about 19 on our runs. If it ever hits the 20's I will be amazed. The only benefit is LPG makes the cost like it is doing good MPG. Im know by all at the petrol station!Mine is 26 on a run, 16 if I'm very careful in the city and 12 if I drive it normally.

Mine averages 12 to 13 although that's predominantly City driving. On the open road it can reach a heady 15mpg!Mine is 26 on a run, 16 if I'm very careful in the city and 12 if I drive it normally.

See mine passed, as did two friends with them. At LR! But there you go.I enjoy having the Petrol V8, mpg is not a worry as its a toy, and a towing tool. My daily is hitting 70mpg, so it balances out nicely.
Last night, well, it got a tad muddy again! Just popped out with a few friends, drove responsibly, but the deep water made for a lot of mess.

Just got rid of my Disco, for much less than I would have liked, but it's cash back in my pocket so all is good.
No doubt this is falling foul of PH Rules, but I have an ECU Mate diagnostic thingy that's nearly new, and now surplus to requirements. Anyone fancy it? (not free ) It's quite handy for the older Land Rover V8's.
