O good, Rodgers is happy with the performance and the point..
I was pretty surprised that he was actually saying the things I was hearing.
They were all laughing at Moyes last season, and I bet Rodgers was loving it too, now Brenda has been exposed.

Only a 2nd rate manager would be happy with a point from a team no one had ever heard of.
Do you have anything else to say or do you just repeat the same stuff over and over, have you got autism?
I think that's the first time he's commented on BWB's post match remarks so leave him be.

Was out tonight - I know we are playing ste but were there any positives?

Hope we beat Basle and qualify just so we get a bit of confidence, even if we are knocked out immediately (highly probable) rather than falling down to Europa, and getting knocked out of that too

I have to say, previously I have (and to a certain extent still am) supporting of Bodge. I don't think it was just Suarez last season. However it seems for whatever reason the players have given up on him. Too many good players have become bad that it seems strange if it wasn't the case. Plus he doesn't seem to be adapting as much as I thought. That said, I think we should give him a bit more time unless it becomes really clear the players will not play for him. Too many quick reactions in football these days generally.

Substitutions should have came much, much sooner tonight.
We were pressured in to our own half.
Fresh legs would have surely helped us push them back and gave us an outlet to actually keep the ball away from danger.

We could have sat in their half for 44 minutes, we're always in danger of being hit on the break at the moment!

Read the 2 posts before I posted. Not only was what I posted my own reflection on the manager's post match interview it was also a follow up to what 2 other posters had shared on that very same interview.

And what if I did have autism? How would it have any impact on the validity of what I posted?

Henderson played much better, Sterling looked dangerous and Gerrard was less of a liability as a no 10.

Would really like to see a central midfield partnership of Cann and Henderson develop with Lallana/Coutinho in the hole.

Lambert basically worked hard, and allowed other players to join in, created spaces etc. Hence Henderson and Sterling much more effective.

I would drop the keeper for the next game, play Monero at LB and stick with the other 9 players.

It was a better performance, but still not anywhere near the level.

Before we get even a little bit optimistic we drew against cannon fodder and could have lost, improved performances were slight and considering the season started yesterday it was pretty pathetic.

I am 100% convinced a nucleus of players want BWB to lose his job and the leader of that group is the same guy that turned on Rafa, now considering Rafa is an outside option for coming back I cant quite get my head around it.

If you want cheering up loads - have a read of the Everton thread - Red ste this, red ste that - they actually talk about our players being injured - I know everyone always say they are obsessed but my God I didnt realise this much.

I actually thought it was a pretty reasonable performance given the circumstances, yes yet again we conceeded two very poor goals, but the work rate was up, and we were actually getting some decent ball upfront, Lambert & Sterling both had good games, and we created a number of chances that should have been converted. I am convinced with a fit strike force & some work on our defence we have the basis for a great team, confidence & injury are both playing big parts at the moment, and considering our dreadful start to the season, in reality we are not in horrible shape just yet & it could be recovered to be a decent season.

However, the supporters need to get behind the manager & the team instead of constantly berating & calling for his head.

Exactly - please don't anyone say Big Watch Brendan. It's embarrassing that we sink to puerile name calling of our own manager and whatever anyone thinks he deserves more respect.

I wish there was a bit more support for our own team regardless of a number of results.
