Mario Balotelli has been handed a one-match ban and fined £25,000 by the Football Association following his inflammatory social media post.
The Liverpool striker has also been ordered to attend an education course.
Balotelli could appeal against the verdict from the independent commission but if he accepts the punishment then he will be suspended for Sunday's Premier League clash with Arsenal.

More good news.

Our £20 million summer signing had a decent game against Bournemouth. Lets not lose the run of ourselves just yet.
He's 20. Has potential. If he shows more of this when he plays then I hope he can develop well and be worth that £20m fee in a years time having settled in the prem and became more mature.
If Gerrard/Fabregas/Silva/Iniesta made that pass to Balotelli everyone would have had a full on stiffy. Unbelievable pass after a surging run.

We love potential at Liverpool, all our signings seem to have potential.
We do indeed Pointless being negative and raving about us though if you aren't happy with our performances. Just take a step back from supporting and watching if you don't want to be a supporter, as essentially, you aren't supporting.
I'm not happy with the amount of money we spent over the summer and how it didn't improve the starting 11 straight away but what can you do? Nothing, so I look to the positives and what can be.
What's the point in following football and a team if you can't support through the amazing and the awful?

Been busy wrapping up work before Xmas holidays. I caught most of the game. I thought they were unlucky not to score 4 goals.
In the end I think this is Bodge's level.
Wow you are a very strange person.. Serious question.. Are you generally a negative person with everything in life ?? I would hate to be in the trenches with someone like you. In the end I think this is Bodge's level.

Never see that, totally against FSG ethos - re sale value in 2/3 years would be less than half.£50m for Benzema - yes please, the perfect Christmas present

And you are on of those pathetic fans who thinks that next year will be our year.
No I am just one of those pathetic fans that understands it takes more than 3 months for a 20 year old lad to settle in a new country. If you dont like liverpool signing lads with potential Like BlackST said why bother 'supporting' (term used very loosely) us - Liverpool has always been a club who like to buy young players and nurture them into better players.
If you knew anything about Lazar you would know he came he with a massive reputation - not from the press but from his own Benfica fans who paid to watch him - they all believed we were getting someone with the potential to become a hell of a player - someone they said is the best youngster they have had at Benfica (they have had some decent players there in there time)
His performance level (I know limited in 2) in his last 3 games has been fantastic - as good as anyone we have.

We didn't even spend £50m on one player in the summer when we had over £100m to spend. Now we just have £4.38 and a couple of Dunkin Donut vouchers, we've got no hope!
Robbie Savage picks apart BR's £206,500,000 spend and "does not have much to show for it". Quite a good article.
