We did play very well today
Massive Improvements in our game going forward, last years fluidity in attack is conf back!
Need to be more clinical and we would have taken 4 more points from UTD and Arsenal
Need to cut out these errors too! Do agree with BR though today's were player errors !
Definitely feelin more positive than I did 3 weeks ago

Well our idiot manager has just claimed we played better than the 5-1 last season, the pitch was poor and we got the result in the end. Outstanding he reckons. He's deluded.
Yes right. I can't believe you don't think your team were outstanding today.
Against an average Arsenal team. No we weren't outstanding. If we were we'd have won. Nor for 1 second does anyone really think today's performance was better than the 5-1 of last season.
I think you're allowing the scoreline to effect your judgment rather than the performance to be honest.

Oh and thanks for referring to us as average, I'll take that as a compliment as in truth we're not even that good!

Personally I thought you would batter us, and I will take a draw as a positive.

Lets just hope we both kick on from here beer

What game were you watching? Lucas played really well and their 2 goals came from the typical defensive stupidity and a crazy Hollywood pass from Gerrard that caught Henderson out of position.

You're just seeing what you want. Lazer did have a better game, it was night and day by his past performances but Lucas had at least a good game. Arsenal failed to carve us up once.

In the end a point isn't good enough, wasting your most talented player as a centre forward is stupid and the defence remains comedy. BWB is just making it up as he's going along and his inability to sort the defence out will cost him his job. The opposition team have a corner that might as well be the equivalent of a penalty.
And yet Lucas is being linked with a move away. Selling the only thing doing half a job of protecting that back four would be an, erm, interesting decision.

Where's all this positivity coming from?

Thumped by UTD, not exactly a stellar performance against BFC.

All show & no go against Arsenal.

27 shots, 2 goals, one from a patched up defender, coming forward to help out the winger played as a forward who was demoted to defence.

If we keep Rodgers, it means letting him loose with the january kitty, which is a nightmare scenario.

The Whole club needs a change, Ayre needs to go, the Transfer Committee needs to go and i've said since last year Rodgers needs to go, he lives on cloud cuckoo land, its always someone else's fault, never his.

9 times out of ten his tactical decision making is league 1 standard.

He refuses to bring a defensive coach in, but acknowledges our defence is wk, yet he has had 2 years to sort it himself, you could spend 100m on defenders but if they are still played the wrong way they will still leak goals like they do.

And finally, his transfer work.

Utterly utterly shocking.

Depressing time to be an LFC fan.

Again.

If you're depressed after the performance of your team today, then what does that say about us?

As an LFC fan, that performance has made me very happy.

If we perform like that or similar until the end of the season then I'd be happy with top 6 tbh.

This is just the sort of game I watch and love football for smile

At the latest, end of the season. At the earliest, before the January window.

If he's still here in January then what he gets in terms of funds will be very telling.

We wont get top 6, we leak too many goals and I dont think we will see Sturridge back for at least another 2-3 months.

Things that, with a credible transfer policy, we could sort.

But with TC's & moneyball ste we dont have that.

So he's definitely gone by the end of the season?

I thought he would be gone within a week of losing the Utd and Arsenal games?

Not sure what the transfer funds has to do with anything? If anything it would show how confident FSG are in their own Transfer Committee. Besides which, do we even have any money?

Based on today's game I don't think we will be replacing the manager in January.

If the chances were converted it would have been a good score line . The need for a defensive coach is glaring.

I know Skrtel gets slated but what a hero today. (Hero in sport, clearly armed forces heros are in a different class).

I genuinely believe we'll get top 6 very least, I get what you're saying about defence and transfers but performance wise that was on a different planet to some of the rubbish we have seen this season.

Yes I thought we played well and lacked an option up front (having sold Suarez and Sturridge being injured).

I thought the team that played today played with belief and passion, and held there own against one of our biggest rivals ( and probably should have beaten them )

But that's just me being positive.
