Gentle Reminder - Oulton Park 12 November

Hi Stewart,
I may just pop along to see if you need some ballast.
It would be interesting to see how Tamy compares to the Awesome Bora.
I shall get busy re-polishing my helmet for the occassion.
I could be helpful for weight distribution going into Cascades......
...... but that's about it really.

Well that was a good day out! Thanks for the rides lads, it was a pleasure being ballast for you
Next time, I hope to get Austin on track as long as there are no inconsiderate VXR's trailing oil & coolant from an exploded engine halfway round the circuit on the racing line.
I mean, surely you'd know when your engine had let go, wouldn't you?
Stewart, did the Mk3 dB Solutions trackday noise reduction kit get home safely?
Elegant in it's simplicity! And Tamy was definitely the quietest TVR there..... even before we created that marvellous bit of kit.
Oh, and I have a photo of you with another man's wife
Don't worry, I won't tell Paul.

Was a great day.
Sound issues aside the morning was rainy afternoon was sunny.
Still managed over 100 miles on track.
Genuinely amazed how much difference a small bit of exhaust wadding makes.
Tamy is having a few strops. Heater fan module has packed up. Exhaust and cat clamps are rubbing on panels. Finally, the windscren cracked following a stone strike on the motorway.
Roll on the 2nd December.

Good day yesterday, pleasure to have you on board Glen sampling the Xbox Driving Experience..... great picture of Mrs D with mk1fan see their keeping there hands to themselves in that picture
I managed 192 miles around the track in the end and some long stints just love driving this car around the track, even enjoyed the wet in the AM first wet track time still a bit to learn on that though!! Was trying to get to the final flag but got down to 5 miles range and it seemed to be using about that per lap so had to come in a couple laps early.
Slight odd thing this time was having to tape my lights up as due to DRL laws I have no option to turn them off and it was deemed intimidating at Oulton but not at Silverstone.
