Not a good Idea to advertise your car late at night when you are tired! First time I have advertised on Pistonheads and I neglected to notice where you select the correct category for listing my S2 in the S Series category so its floating around somwhere in the other makes area.
Have emailed Pistonheads support requesting it to be moved so hopefully this will be done soon!

These folks are free to advertise with, so if you don't want to wait then may be worth a try?
As your car is 25 years old it becomes easier to export, so reaching a worldwide audience may help matters.
I used them to sell my MGB, you only get calls via a central number, no direct calls so no time wasters. I sold to the first person to see, at the price I wanted.
Good Luck Paul, and hope you get a good result.

Thanks Mike, someone has emailed me and offered to purchase it withou viewing, he or she has said they are housebound after surgery and although could be genuine it also could be the opposite!
I don't know about you Mike but I would never purchase a car or motorbike without either looking myself or asking a friend to look on my behalf.
This person has asked for my location so they can get quotes for picking the S up!!

Housebound but buying a car they have never set eyes on, requesting a location to pick it up. Hmm, be very careful.

The first email I received through Pistonheads advert was suspect and I was right!!
PistonHeads: Alert of potentially fraudulent communication
We have reason to believe that you may have been contacted by hbetty100@gmail.com in relation to an advert on PistonHeads.
I took your advice and advertised it for free on carandclassic, have been paid already so Saturday is its MOT then I will arrange for the buyer who's from Preston to collect.
Great News Sir, glad I could help. So that means both of us with Christmas time and No TVR to play wiith.
My diesel Jetta is no substitute...
Seems there are several S 's going to new homes.
Maybe we can finally meet up, but will need name badges rather than seeing us turn up in TVRs. ... Not so easy to recognise.
